The product is InviZinc^TM, our clear zinc sunscreen, blended with 2 chemical sunscreens, and our WaterBlock® waterproof system, consistently rated the best in the business. The product is unfragranced, and unlike many unfragranced sunscreens, smells very pleasant. Texture exceptional: no greasy or oil feel: goes on completely clear—no white sheen. Clinical testing (test results available to any physician or spa stocking SolarexMD) confirms that with the WaterBlock system, SolarexMD Matte Zinc remains at SPF #40 after 8 hours on the test subject, 6 hours of which are actually in the water.(Summary of testing is that product is applied and allowed 15 minutes to set. Test subject is then immersed into warm water for 30 minutes, out for 10 minute intermission, back in, and this continues for 12 consecutive immersions, totaling  6 hours in the water and 8 hours test length—spf test is then re-run). SolarexMD showed virtually no function loss and retained its SPF #40 rating on the 2^nd spf test, conducted after the end of the 8 hour test.
